The CEB is organized to ensure fairness and consistency in its work. The Board, professional staff, and support teams collaborate to manage and review approximately 110,000 cases each year with care and accountability.

The Cannabis Expungement Board was created in 2023 with the Adult-Use Cannabis Act. The Board was created to review Minnesota felony and some misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor charges for potential expungement relief. All those who work with people affected by cannabis convictions as well as those who may benefit from conviction relief are welcome to join to learn more about our work*.
