NOTICE:

On July 1, 2025 the fee schedule for the Board of Podiatric Medicine was updated as follows:

· application for DPM licensure, $750;

· renewal of DPM license, $750;

· late renewal fee, $250;

· temporary permit,$250;

· duplicate license or duplicate renewal certificate, $25;

· DPM license reinstatement, $1,000;

· exam administration to persons who have not applied for a license or permit, $50;

· fee for verification of licensure, $50;

· labels, $50;

· list of licensees, $50; and

· copies, 50 cents per page.

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) renewals are currently OPEN

Renewals for licenses expiring on 6/30/2026 are OPEN.

Board fees are authorized in MN Stat. Chapter 153.30 and are as follows:

$750 Renewal License
$100 Late Renewal Fee

License Renewal Tips:

Continuing Education - Email CPME or Board approved certificates for 40 CME hours from 7/1/24 to 5/31/26. Only 8 CME may be obtained from online courses. This includes both on-demand and live virtual courses. If you are attending a June conference, please notify the Board in advance.
Any Licensee not licensed for the full two years will receive an email with information about prorated fees and CME requirements.

Prosthetist, Orthotist, Prosthetist-Orthotist, Pedorthist, Fitter & Assistant (POPPFA) renewals are currently CLOSED

Renewals for licenses expiring on 12/31/2027 will open in mid-October 2027

Applying for Multiple Licenses?

Licensees that hold more than one license are REQUIRED to call (612) 548-2175 to ensure accuracy of required fees prior to applying. Don't apply online. Paid fees are non-refundable.

Attention: Quarterly Board meetings are held at the Board offices at 335 Randolph Avenue in St. Paul. Board meetings will start at 5:30PM. Members of the public interested in participating may contact the Board office for information. All Board meetings are open to the public.
