Beginning in 2020, all Minnesota Board of Optometry renewals and newly issued licenses include the payment for the annual enrollment into the OE (Optometric Education) Tracker system, administered by COPE (Council of Optometric Practitioner Education). The OE Tracker system provides automated tracking of continued education and directly links to the OD renewal of license. OE Tracker is your electronic file cabinet for all the former paper certificates used to record clock hours.
Every OD receives an OE Tracker number and card, typically when you register for your NBEO national exams. CE Providers can either scan your card or you provide them with your OE Tracker number.
