Total Initial Application fee is $283.25, (application fee; $160.00, MN Portion of State Law Exam fee; $75.00, Annual OE Tracker fee; $15.00 and Criminal Background Check fee; $33.25).
Complete the Application for Licensure online and pay by credit card.
Once staff is notified that your application has been received, staff will review the content and within 48 hours will email you how to access your application online.
This will allow you to check on the status of required documentation received and still needed.
At examination sign-up, you are provided different options to notify various jurisdictions/states.
Once NBEO has received your official transcript notifying them that you have obtained your Doctor of Optometry, they release your scores to all jurisdictions/states that you noted.
Applicants will need to contact NBEO at all times to release the examination scores even if requesting a license at a later date.
