New Governor Appointees

On September 17, 2018, Governor Mark Dayton announced the appointments of
- Jessie Everts, PhD, LMFT, and Ukasha Dakane to the MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy effective September 19, 2018 - January 7, 2019. Dr. Everts was appointed to complete the term of former Board member, Bruce O’Leary, LMFT, who stepped down from the Board effective July 1, 2018. Dr. Everts serves as one of four LMFT members of the Board.
- Mr. Dakane is one of two public members of the Board and his appointment completes the term of former Board member, Dennis Morrow, PhD, who resigned from the Board effective July 1, 2018.
The Board congratulates Dr. Everts and Mr. Dakane on their appointments and welcomes them to the MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy. The Board further thanks Mr. O’Leary and Dr. Morrow for their years of hard work and commitment to public service, and wishes them well in all their new endeavors.
