Minnesota Statutes section 319B states that no professional firm may furnish professional services within Minnesota until the firm has filed initial information with each Board having jurisdiction over the pertinent professional services. Section 319B also requires every professional firm to file an annual report on or before January 31st of each year, with the Board(s) that has jurisdiction over the professional services offered by the firm.
The Professional Firm Initial Report is to be filed with the MFT Board office at time of incorporation, or at the time you became aware of requirement to file. The Professional Firm Annual Report is to be filed annually by January 31st (starting one calendar year after filing first report.)
