Anyone may file a written complaint with the Board. The identity of the individual filing a complaint is private (Minn. Stat. 13.41, subd. 2). An anonymous complaint will be accepted but the Board’s ability to review and investigate anonymous complaint allegations may be limited.
Minnesota law requires the Board to make publicly available all disciplinary or corrective actions. All public actions may be accessed on the Disciplinary/Corrective Actions webpage.
Online license verification is available as primary source verification of all LAMFTs and LMFTs in Minnesota.
The MN Board of MFT is required to publish and maintain policies regarding access to data collected or maintained by the Board.
