Living with Families, Not in Institutions
Not long ago, we were told that our children didn't belong home with us, that we had to hand them over to institutions. That way, we could have other children and not be bothered. That way, society could put them out of sight and out of mind.

But it turned out that institutions were very expensive and they were no place for human beings. Living with the family was the best place for everybody.

How We Treat Children
This is not the way we treat children. We treat children with love, when they cry we run to them, we pick them up, we hold them, expose them. Many people say these children belong with their 'own kind'. I say their own kind are their brothers and their sisters, and their neighbors and their friends.
