Research Analysis Specialist - Job ID: 96325

We are seeking a Report Developer to provide analytical support of data used by MMCAP. In this role, you will construct core and ad hoc reports; build and maintain the core dashboard and reporting for MMCAP leadership, staff, and members; and provide web portal content related to analytics and reporting. By demonstrating subject matter expertise, you will conduct research, data mining, and complex analysis. This includes conducting studies in the specialized field of pharmaceuticals and other related healthcare products and services; determining methodologies and making recommendations for major studies which may have statewide and/or national impact; working with the team on difficult statistical or analytical research; and providing technical advice and assistance to team members.

State Program Administrator, Manager Senior - Job ID: 96296

This position provides strategic leadership and direction to the Knowledge and Financial Management (KFM) section of MMCAP that supports the enterprise's business strategies and consultative services addressing the business needs of MMCAP members. In carrying out this purpose, the position manages KFM staff and consultants to develop the enterprise's competitive information (market intelligence) and financial targets. This position operates in a national, visible and highly competitive environment impacted by national health care laws and programs such as the Affordable Care Act to serve over 35,000 facilities, located in 50 states, leveraging the cooperative purchasing, joint powers agreements, and federal safe harbor laws to best serve the expanding needs of MMCAP's members and its board of interstate advisors. As a member of the MMCAP leadership team, the role closely works with state financial and IT partners, and member organizations' IT and fiscal teams to support effective operations across the program.

Staff Attorney 2 - Job ID: 94054

MMCAP is seeking up to two (2) Attorneys for the Legal and Compliance unit to provide MMCAP leadership, staff, and membership with expert-level legal guidance and expertise through the drafting of contracts, requests for proposals, notices, and analyses that permit MMCAP to maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements while developing and sustaining positive working relationships with purchasing officials, pharmacists, auditors, contracting experts, and others who comprise and represent MMCAP's membership of over 50,000 participating facilities.

This position acts as a subject matter expert in the overall laws, rules, and policies that relate to and support programmatic goals held by all business areas that comprise MMCAP. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in developing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth, effective, and legal operation of MMCAP.
  • Providing legal review, technical assistance, and input to the MMCAP lines of businesses such as pharmaceuticals, wholesaler purchasing, and other healthcare products and services so that their respective business objectives are achieved in a legal and timely manner.
  • Providing legal and technical assistance to MMCAP leadership, staff, and external attorneys on significant issues affecting its business so that it may take appropriate action, if needed.
  • Providing legal advice in the development and evaluation of MMCAP policies and procedures for compliance with applicable laws.
