American Rescue Plan
The American Rescue Plan (ARP) was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Biden on March 11, 2021. The ARP is intended to provide immediate relief to families and workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with direct relief payments, expanded tax credits, homeowner and renter assistance, and support for state, local, and tribal governments across the country.
An estimated $8.5 billion will be allocated to the State of Minnesota in various programs. These programs include State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds as outlined below.
