Greater Mankato Area United Way helps ensure the well-being, stability and self-sufficiency of individuals of all ages through Basic Needs, Health and Education. By serving more than 53,000 annually in Blue Earth, Le Sueur, Nicollet and Waseca counties, we work to build a better tomorrow for all in our region.

Gift Examples

  • Some examples of a gift of $3 per week: Three weeks of meals for a senior; counseling for a survivor of domestic and/or sexual violence.
  • Some examples of a gift of $5 per week: Two nights of crisis nursery services for five children; 15 first aid kits for new American families; a recreational activity for 125 individuals with disabilities.
  • Some examples of a gift of $10 per week: Mentors for four students in need of a caring adult; health and wellness class for eight seniors.

Administration Fee

Administration fee is 13%. If it is a non-cash pledge, there is a 4% uncollectible fee.
