Since 1944, UNCF (United Negro College Fund) has helped minority students live the American dream by helping more than half a million young men and women graduate from college across the United States. Today, UNCF supports more than 60,000 students attending over 1,100 colleges and universities nationwide, including 37 UNCF-membe HBCUs, thereby providing the opportunity for a college education at an HBCU or any other college or university.
