Project Summary
Red Pine Wind Project, LLC, a subsidery of EDF Renewable Energy, Inc., has applied for a Large Wind Energy Conversion System (LWECS) site permit to construct and operate the 200 megawatt (MW) Red Pine Wind Project in Lincoln County, Minnesota. The project will consist of up to 100 wind turbines.
A public hearing for the project was held on March 6, 2017. The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission issued a site permit for the project on June 27, 2017. The project has been in operation since Decmeber 2017.
