The 27 one-bedroom Jeanne Jugan Apartments offer low-income seniors interested in maintaining their independence the security of knowing someone is always near at hand. The apartments are connected to Holy Family Residence by an enclosed walkway.

Residence and care for aged or infirm persons who require only personal or custodial care
DESCRIPTION:
A Boarding Care Home is a licensed facility that provides care for aged or ill persons who need personal or custodial care only. Examples of personal or custodial care include help with bathing, dressing, or other personal care; supervision of medications that can be safely self-administered; or a program of activities and supervision required by persons who are not capable of properly caring for themselves. Unless certified for participation in the federal Medicaid program, nurses are not required. However, boarding care homes with Medicaid certification are staffed 24 hours per day by trained nursing staff, including licensed nurses and registered nurse aides.
This provider is a licensed Boarding Care Home by the Minnesota Department of Health and is subject to periodic health and safety inspections for regulatory compliance by the Department of Health. Certified board and care homes are subject to federal nursing home regulations for nursing facilities.
