Essentials of Supervision Series-   Discover new tools and techniques to maximize your employees’ talent, how to successfully delegate tasks and manage conflicts with productive approaches to solving problems. Courses in this series will complement mandatory state supervisory training and provide a sound foundation on which to build unit and agency success.

Management Core-   In this program you will receive an introduction to strategic talent leadership, employee engagement, business process improvement and organizational performance. Learn how to manage as a leader and to build interpersonal relations and effectively manage conflict.

Pre-Planning for Retirement Seminar-   Pre-planning is essential. Whether you are five years or thirty years away from retirement, consider registering for ELD's Pre-Planning for Retirement Seminar. Gain valuable insight for planning your retirement and discover the necessary retirement tools to protect your future. Managerial Skill Courses- Designed to support development in knowledge, skills and leadership competencies for managers or any state employee who wants to develop additional skills and competencies within state government. These courses also help meet the required state guideline of eighty (80) total hours of training for managers.

Strategic Effectiveness for Aspiring Leaders-   A program for state employees in non-management roles that aspire to become leaders and wish to build skills towards this goal. Some of the topics include strategic problem solving, presenting to senior-level staff and effective communication.
