  • Medicare coverage changes? Help is available.

    Many Minnesotans are reviewing their health coverage for 2027. Some Medicare Advantage plans will no longer be available next year. Also, a new Minnesota law also creates additional opportunities for certain people ages 65-70 to enroll in Medicare Supplement (Medigap) coverage.

    Free, unbiased help is available through Minnesota Aging Pathways. Call them at 800-333-2433, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can also reach them via chat. You can also call 800-MEDICARE (800-633-4227) to talk to someone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The federal Medicare Plan Finder is the place to go to check out your plan options. You can chat with Medicare staff in the upper right corner of the Plan Finder homepage.
