Surplus Property

Admin assists state organizations in the redistribution of surplus public assets in a responsible fashion for the fiscal and environmental benefit of Minnesota. Admin also operates the state auction program, conducting live and online auctions which serve the public and return revenue to state government.

Many types of items are available, including office supplies and furniture, medical supplies and equipment, clothing, a wide range of vehicles, machine tools, hardware and electrical supplies and much more.

State Auctions

Admin Surplus Services conducts about a dozen live auctions each year, open to the public. Admin also conducts online auctions throughout the year at MNBid.mn.gov.

Federal Surplus Property

The United States General Services Administration (GSA) sells federal surplus property through live and online auctions. Register to bid online and view live auction information.

State Land

The state also periodically has land for sale to the public. Use this link to view land available for purchase.
