Update, July 15, 2021

The MN Judicial Center, which also houses the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals, is open to the public Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., excluding state holidays. Facemasks are no longer required within the MN Judicial Center for all people in the building. The office is open to accept filings between 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

El Centro Judicial de MN, que también alberga el Tribunal de Apelaciones de Compensación para Trabajadores, está abierto al público de lunes a viernes de 8:00 a.m. a 4:30 p.m., excepto los días festivos estatales. LIMITED FACILITY ACCESS. The MN Judicial Center, which also houses the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals, is currently CLOSED to the public. Deliveries: Letters or packages sent via U.S. Mail will continue to be delivered to the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals during this period. Other deliveries to the WCCA during this period can be left with the building's ground floor receptionist or at the building loading dock during normal business hours (weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.). You may arrange a time for a delivery by calling 651-297-7650.

Entregas: Las cartas o paquetes enviados por correo de EE. UU. Continuarán entregándose al Tribunal de Apelaciones de Compensación para Trabajadores durante este período. Otras entregas a la WCCA durante este período se pueden dejar con la recepcionista de la planta baja del edificio o en el muelle de carga del edificio durante el horario laboral normal (de lunes a viernes de 8:00 a.m. a 11:30 a.m. y de 12:30 p.m. a 4:30 p.m.). The Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals is open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every weekday, except for state holidays.  The WCCA is following the guidelines from Governor Walz's Executive Orders, State of Minnesota's Department of Administration, and the MN Judicial Building.  Should you have any questions please see https://mn.gov/covid19/. - Chief Judge Patricia J. Update, July 15, 2020:

RESUMPTION OF NORMAL SCHEDULE OF PROCEEDINGS FOR NEW CASES. The Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals is resuming normal case scheduling for all appeals and petitions to vacate filed on or after July 15, 2020. Such appeals and petitions will proceed under the schedule set forth pursuant to Minn. R. Ch. 9800 or as modified by the notices and orders of that particular case. - Chief Judge Patricia J. Milun.

Update, June 15, 2020:

ORAL ARGUMENTS. The Minnesota Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals will hold all oral arguments remotely via WebEx until further notice. Attorneys whose cases are selected for oral argument will be contacted with specific information about their remote attendance and the use of that application. Update, May 18, 2020:

FACILITY ACCESS. Access to the Minnesota Judicial Center building and its court facilities remains limited until further notice, pursuant to Chief Justice Gildea's May 15, 2020, Order governing the operations of the Minnesota Judicial Branch. Access to the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals will follow the conditions set forth in that order. Deliveries to the court will continue as set forth below (March 26, 2020).

Update, May 1, 2020:

RESUMPTION OF PROCEEDINGS BEGINS ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS. The court will begin lifting the general stay on proceedings on a case-by-case basis beginning the week of May 11, 2020. Notice that the stay has been lifted in such a case will be provided to parties through service of an order specifically lifting the stay on that case. The stay issued by the court effective March 26, 2020, remains in effect for all other cases pending further order of the court. - Chief Judge Patricia J. Milun

Update, March 26, 2020:

ORDER STAYING PROCEEDINGS EFFECTIVE MARCH 26, 2020. IT IS ORDERED that all proceedings and briefing schedules for cases pending before the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals are STAYED pending further order of the Court. - Chief Judge Patricia J. Milun.

Other deliveries to the WCCA during this period can be left with the building's ground floor receptionist or at the building loading dock during normal business hours (weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Court Operations During Coronavirus Emergency: During this peacetime emergency for reasons related to the COVID-19 virus, the WCCA will continue to work safely and effectively to maintain the operations of the court. The WCCA will remain open and the hours remain 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Any changes to the current operations of the WCCA will be posted on our website. - Chief Judge Patricia J. Milun
