The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (Commission) may initiate action to consider an amendment to a site permit for a LWECS on its own initiative or upon the request of any person. When considering a request, the Commission will initiate a comment period to receive comments on the site permit amendment proposal. After the close of the comment period, and upon affording due process to the permit holder, the Commission will determine whether to accept the amendment request. The Commission may revoke a site permit for a LWECS on its own initiative or upon the request of any person. No site permit may be revoked without first providing notice and affording due process to the permit holder. The Commission may revoke a site permit for a LWECS at any time if the Commission determines that the permittee various actions have occurred listed in statute.
