Will Seuffert serves as the Executive Secretary of the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission. Appointed to this role in January 2020, Will oversees all agency operations and has led the agency through major operational changes and industry transition.
Will serves on the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners Staff Subcommittee on Executive Management. He also represents the Commission on the Minnesota Energy Transition Advisory Committee, and other interagency initiatives.
For nearly 20 years Will has served in various leadership roles in Minnesota state government. These assignments include Executive Director of the Environmental Quality Board, Senior Policy Advisor to Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton, and legislative staff for the Minnesota Senate Energy, Utilities, Technology and Communications Committee.
Will holds a master’s degree in international peace and conflict resolution from American University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Eckerd College. He and his wife, Alice Seuffert, have two children.
