Daniel P. Wolf was appointed the Executive Secretary of the Commission in January of 2015. As prescribed by law, the Executive Secretary is the chief executive officer for the Commission. Prior to his current position, Mr. Wolf was the Commission’s Assistant Executive Secretary for five years.
Before joining the Commission, Mr. Wolf had a long and distinguished service on the staff of the Minnesota Senate, spanning over 25 years. Working as Caucus staff, he was a researcher; director of research; and, for 19 years under four successive Caucus Leaders, chief of staff.
After graduating from Law School, Mr. Wolf engaged in the private practice of law for several years, concentrating on real estate and corporate law.
Mr. Wolf earned a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary’s University, Minnesota.
