Minimum Qualifications
Licensed Minnesota Peace Officer
Minimum of 2 years of police patrol experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with youth, educators, and community members
Responsibilities
Provide law enforcement presence and support within Royalton schools
Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Assist with safety planning, crime prevention, and law-related education
Respond to incidents and enforce laws as necessary
Serve as a liaison between the school district and the police department
Officer will serve in a patrol officer position when not assigned to the schools
