Job Description: The Deputy Sheriff performs intermediate protective services with frequent exposure to high-risk situations.
This position will exercise independent judgement in patrolling roadways and cities within the jurisdiction, enforce statutes and ordinances, make critical decisions, conduct general patrol, respond to emergency calls, monitor traffic, conduct investigations, prepare reports, develop community partnerships, and carry out special duties while using a significant degree of independent judgement and decision-making under the limited supervision of the Captain, Chief Deputy Sheriff and County Sheriff. Performs related work as apparent or assigned.
