The Olmstead Decision

Olmstead v. L.C. was a U.S. Supreme Court case. After hearing the case, the Supreme Court Justices wrote "The Olmstead Decision" that said

  • States can’t keep people with disabilities from living, working, or spending time with people who don’t have disabilities.
  • People with disabilities have the right to make decisions about their lives.
