Chief Geospatial Information Officer
Dan Ross serves as the state’s Chief Geospatial Information Officer and Director of the Minnesota Geospatial Information Office (MnGeo), a program of Minnesota IT Services. Dan has served the State of Minnesota for 23 years in various geospatial and leadership roles within multiple state agencies.
In his role, Dan focuses on building partnerships within Minnesota’s geospatial community to deliver foundational geospatial services and resources throughout the state. Dan is also currently serving as the President-elect for the National States Geographic Information Council.
