Human Resources Director
As Human Resources Director for MNIT Services, Chad directs and manages a division that supports 2,100 employees in 22 agency-based offices and more than 90 physical locations around the State of Minnesota.
Chad began working for the State in 1994 as a Finance Specialist in the Minnesota House of Representatives processing payroll and business expenses for legislators and staff. Three years later he moved to the Assistant Director position with the Legislative Coordinating Commission where he managed the payroll and HR functions, assisted in the development and maintenance of the Legislative Plan for Employee Policies and Benefits and led other HR-related activities during his nine-year tenure. In 2006, he moved into the State Compensation Manager position where he provided leadership and management of the State of Minnesota's classification and compensation program, participated in the negotiations of the state’s employment contracts, and revised and maintained the compensation plans for unrepresented staff.
Chad holds a Master of Arts in Industrial Relations/Human Resources Management from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
