People would come in and testify and say, oh their property values would go down, their children and their women would be at risk. And fortunately I had enough information, and this is the part where I probably went over the bounds of just neutrality, because I had experience in this field and the knowledge of people with disabilities.

And we would also have mustered people who could testify, other neighbors who could testify about the fact that nothing had happened in their neighborhood when a home went in, and the more development there was, the more proponents for this type of housing we could have testify. So that was very helpful.
