Short-Term Disability (STD) Insurance pays you a portion of your earnings if you cannot work because of a disabling illness, injury, or pregnancy.
Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance pays you a portion of your Earnings if you cannot work because of a disabling illness or injury.
Long-Term Care (LTC) insurance pays for a variety of services for people who are unable to care for themselves due to an injury such as a paralysis from a car accident, a chronic illness such as arthritis, an acute episode such as a stroke, or a cognitive impairment like Alzheimer's disease. Long term care services may include assistance in a home, adult day care center, an assisted living facility, or nursing home.
Current insurance eligible employees may be enrolled in STD and LTD insurance. You may submit an application for STD coverage at any time; you may apply for LTD coverage during open enrollment.
