About Results for Children

The Children's Cabinet regularly convenes leaders from Minnesota state agencies to assess progress on the five key goals and to identify opportunities to support Minnesota's children and families.

The five Results for Children goals are based on the five statewide goals established in the World’s Best Workforce legislation enacted in 2013. The goal of this legislation is to ensure every school district in the state is making strides to increase student performance.  Information related to school districts' roles in implementing this legislation is available on the Minnesota Department of Education’s website. Minnesota Management & Budget coordinates this interagency collaboration and its underlying data analyses.

Other state agency partners include:

Minnesota Department of Education

Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development

Minnesota Department of Health

Minnesota Department of Human Services

Minnesota Housing Finance Agency

Minnesota Office of Higher Education

Minnesota Department of Transportation

Metropolitan Council
