Senior Management Consultant
Jim Jarvis brings an entrepreneurial perspective to government enterprises and programs that are seeking new strategic directions, alliances and/or incentives. Jim’s professional strengths include strategic planning, enterprise revenue generation, public-private sector alliances, program and organizational assessment and business planning.
In the public sector, Jim has served the state of Minnesota in senior management positions with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, Departments of Commerce and Economic Development. His responsibilities in regulatory and economic development arenas included policy development, operation management and restructuring, and service delivery and outcome measurements. In the private sector, Jim has advised start-ups and mature businesses on reorganization, workouts, team building, alliances, finance and product and service development.
Jim has a law degree from the Widener University School of Law and is a graduate of the H. H. Humphrey Institute’s Leadership Program. He studied economics at the University of Wisconsin and has a Bachelor of Science degree in history from the University of Minnesota.
