Jeff Gintz has been a member of the Combined Charities Campaign Board since April, 2019. He is currently a member of the Events Committee. Jeff was the Department of Revenue’s Campaign Coordinator for the 2016-2018 campaigns. During those campaigns, Jeff increased the Department of Revenue’s employee pledge participation by 100 employees, an increase of 60%. Jeff was the Sales and Use Tax Division Combined Charities representative from 2013 through 2018. Jeff was a Combined Charities Hero Award winner in 2018.
Jeff has worked for the Department of Revenue since 2012 after nearly 20 years in the corporate world. Jeff is the state program administrator for sales tax programs such as JOBZ, Greater Minnesota Jobs Expansion program, qualified data centers, and border city enterprise zones. Jeff also teaches the Minnesota Basic Education (MBE) class for sales tax and the sales tax webinar.
Jeff lives in Apple Valley with his wife and children. They are a blended family with children ranging in age from 21 to 6. Jeff was a Boy Scout leader for two years. He is also actively involved in ministry and as an elder at his church. Jeff has taught Sunday school for many years. Jeff is actively involved with the local youth sports organization in Apple Valley, Valley Athletic Association (VAA). Jeff was a board member for VAA for 2 years. Jeff has been commissioner for the VAA soccer league since 2016. Jeff has also coached many VAA teams for sports including baseball, softball, basketball, football, soccer, and track.
