Brian Zaidman has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2007, representing the Department of Labor and Industry. He has served as vice-chair and chair of the Board, and currently chairs the Coordinator Relations Committee, which is responsible for coordinator recruitment, training and feedback.
Brian has been a senior research analyst at the Department of Labor and Industry since 1987, after working two years at the Housing Finance Agency. Among his various duties for DLI programs, Brian is responsible for organizing and disseminating statistics about occupational injuries and illnesses, including occupational injury and illness rates and work-related fatality statistics. Brian gives regular presentations and webinars on the basics of OSHA log record keeping.
Brian is active with many charity and social justice issues. He also chairs the Diversity Committee at Labor and Industry.
