New OBIEE Human Resource Reports and Subject Areas

The SWIFT Data Warehouse has released a suite of reports comprised of Human Resource data via OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition), the SWIFT Data Warehouse query and reporting tool. In addition, associated Human Resource subject areas are available for use with OBIEE analysis.

Human Resource Reports

This suite of linked reports, presented on the new Human Resources OBIEE Statewide dashboard, includes:

  • Active Full-Time/Part-Time Employees
  • AFSCME Eligible for Next Increase Dates
  • Appointment/Leave End Date
  • Current Employee Salary/Appointment Information
  • Current Filled Positions
  • Current Vacant Positions With Matching Job Record
  • Current Vacant Positions With No Job Record
  • Eligible for Retirement Analysis
  • Employees With Multiple Active Appointments
  • Ongoing Employee Hours Measurement
  • Part-Time Employee Insurance
  • Rehire/Company Seniority Date
  • Salary Increase/Probation End Date
  • Seniority Roster
  • Vacant Positions

Human Resource Subject Areas

In addition to the OBIEE Human Resource reports, OBIEE Human Resource Subject Areas are available for use with OBIEE analysis. The Human Resource subject areas include:

    New OBIEE Data Dictionary & Repository Documentation

    The SWIFT Data Warehouse has released new resources to help you understand the data and subject matter areas that are available in the OBIEE reporting and analysis tool. These resources include:

    2. The OBIEE Data Dictionary Dashboard which includes:
    o OBIEE Data Dictionary
    o OBIEE Data Dictionary Detail
    o OBIEE Data Dictionary Detailed All Columns

    Q: How does our agency request to change or add a Ship To location?

    A: To change or add a Ship To location, follow the instructions below.

    Step 1: Check the Existing Locations and Ship To Locations for your agency

    Some agencies have multiple Ship To locations. If the Ship To location is not listed or needs to be changed, then you can request to change or add a Ship To location.

    To view existing location and Ship To locations, run the following queries:
    1. Location Details by Agency: M-PO-GBL-LOCATION-DETAILS
    2. Ship To Location Details by Agency: M-PO-GBL-SHIPTO-DETAILS

    Step 2: Complete the Agency Location Request Form

    To request to add or change a Ship To location for your agency, complete the Agency Location Request Form. Use the link below to access SWIFT forms on MMB's website. Under the General Procurement Forms section, select the Location Request Form link.

    The Location Request Form will open in an Excel document. It contains three tabs: (1) Form Instructions, (2) Location Request Form and (3) Tax & Region Codes. Complete the required fields on the form. Some fields have a maximum character length listed in the header.

    Step 3: Submit the Agency Location Request Form for review and approval

    Send the completed Agency Location Request Form to your agency's purchasing lead for approval. Once the Ship To location has been approved at your agency, email the completed form with the changes or new location request to They will review your request and enter it in SWIFT.

    When emailing the SWIFT Help Desk, be sure to include all details regarding the issue. Information to include with your message:

    • Issue Description
    • Business Unit
    • Module (Accounts Payable, Purchase Orders, etc.)
    • Transaction ID (Voucher ID, PO ID, etc.)
    • Error Message Print Screen

    SWIFT Training

    To find SWIFT training, open Employee Self-Service and select the Learning folder. Then, search the Catalog using the keyword "SWIFT" to find and enroll in classes currently scheduled.
