2-Gen Principles to Practice Tool

The Principles to Practice tool is based on principles that emerged through interagency and cross-sector efforts during 2017 and 2018. The tool intends to surface strengths and opportunities for moving the principles into practice for those who create policy or manage programs that effect families. This can be used in a team and will take between 1 to 2 hours to complete. The policy and practice change ideas that surface from the discussion may range from quick and short term changes to those with a longer time-frame.

Results for Children Dashboard

The Children's Cabinet regularly convenes leaders from Minnesota state agencies to assess progress on the five key goals and to identify opportunities to support Minnesota's children and families. The Results for Children dashboard and the data for each of the indicators included provides key population outcomes from early childhood through post-secondary education. This dashboard is a resource to help state and local policymakers understand how well the state is preparing its next generation for success.
