Aiding, Abetting & Obstruction is Illegal
Assisting or encouraging another person to discriminate in violation of the MHRA is aiding and abetting. Preventing a person from obeying the MHRA is obstruction.
- To intentionally aid, abet, incite, compel or coerce a person to engage in any of the practices forbidden by the Minnesota Human Rights Act (MHRA).
- To intentionally attempt to aid, abet, incite, compel or coerce a person to engage in any of the practices forbidden by the MHRA.
- To intentionally obstruct or prevent any person from complying with the provisions of the MHRA, or any order issued there under, or to resist, prevent, impede, or interfere with the commissioner or any of the commissioner's employees or representatives in the performance of their duty under the MHRA.
