Julio Zelaya is currently the Greater Minnesota Racial Justice Project Coordinator with the American Civil Liberties Union. His civil rights work is based out of southern part of the state and calls the city St. James home. He is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, where he studied political science.
In the past, Julio has worked with the Minnesota Department of Education and taught within the Minneapolis School District. Most recently, he spent a year teaching English in the festive city of Barranquilla, Colombia.
