Alejandra Bejarano works as an economic recovery planner at Region Nine Development Commission. Before joining Region Nine as a planner, Alejandra was part of the Lead for Minnesota fellowship program that she started soon after graduating with an MPA from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Alejandra hails from Colombia and moved to the United States at a young age to play college tennis. She has a deep interest in research, community, and economic development. She has diverse background experience in both the private and public sectors and is passionate about exploring new cultures, as she speaks multiple languages.
Alejandra served as Vice President of ALPFA’s chapter in Minnesota (Association of Latino Professionals for America), and she was recently appointed to the Minnesota Council on Latino Affairs.
