Transportation, engineering and policy development.
MnDOT Library supports the activities of the Department of Transportation,
including the planning, design, construction and maintenance of
the state's transportation programs and facilities by providing
transportation officials and practitioners information faster, better
and cheaper than they can for themselves. The library develops and
participates in local, regional, national and international networks
to facilitate information exchange between libraries and within
the transportation community.
Our primary customers are employees of the Minnesota Department
of Transportation; students, staff and faculty of the University
of Minnesota's Center for Transportation Studies; transportation
staff of Minnesota cities, counties, MPOs and RPOs
