ProBlast Technology, Inc. serves the needs of industrial plants, original equipment manufacturers (OEM), fabrication shops, mining companies, loggers and contractors in a new 22,000 square-foot facility in Keewatin.
The company offers abrasive blasting, painting, coatings, polyurea application and spray foam application. ProBlast Technology handles jobs as small as automotive rims to large 240-ton haul trucks.
ProBlast Technology started in 1986 as a one-man, seasonal side business in Pengilly. Its new facility in Keewatin was built on five acres and utilizes the best quality, environmentally-safe products.
Iron Range Resources & Rehabilitation provided a $285,000 grant to the City of Keewatin to extend infrastructure to the new facility. The project created eight new jobs.
