Continuing Education

During a calendar year, a gambling manager is required to complete at least one continuing education class conducted by the Board.  Plan accordingly, and don’t wait until the last minute!

  • Continuing education classes are conducted online and at locations throughout the state.
  • For traditional classes, check for specific dates and times listed below.  Length of classes may vary.  No prior registration is necessary to attend.
  • Both online and traditional classes are free and open to the public.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS:  If you are planning to attend a class in person and need special accommodations due to a disability, please call 651-539-1950 two weeks in advance.

New!  Online Continuing Education Course Available

The Board’s first online continuing education course is ready for your use!  For gambling managers, completion of the course satisfies your continuing education requirements for 2018.

Although the Board will continue to offer traditional classes this fall, online classes mean you won’t need to take time off of work to attend these required classes, or travel to the closest class location.

We look forward to your feedback as we continue to develop additional online courses.

Take the Online Course!

  • Click on the link below.
  • Enter your email address.  If you are a currently licensed gambling manager, the email address will be used to send you a confirmation that you’ve received continuing education credit for taking the online course.  You will receive this confirmation email by the 5th of the following month.  (Non-gambling managers can skip the email step.)
  • Once you’ve entered your email address, you’ll be asked to enter your name and a password.  Be sure to remember your password as you’ll use it to access this and future classes.  When finished entering your password, select “OK, go to the course”.
  • After the introduction page, you’ll be asked whether you are a currently licensed gambling manager and if so, what is your organization’s license number.  Please enter this information carefully and accurately as you won’t be able to change your answer to these two questions.  If you should make a mistake and you’re a currently licensed gambling manager, please contact your Compliance Specialist.
