Scott Hable of Hector, MN is the Renville County Sheriff, a position he has held since 2011. He has served in the roles of 911 dispatcher, corrections officer, deputy sheriff and criminal investigator in Renville County and as a narcotics agent in a multi-county drug task force prior to his election as Sheriff. Hable has also been a licensed paramedic since 1993, having worked in both suburban and rural settings. He continues to volunteer as a firefighter and paramedic. Hable was appointed to the EMS Regulatory Board in 2022 by Governor Waltz as the representative of county sheriffs. His term expires in January 2026.
