Lisa Brodsky is the Scott county Public Health Director. She has over ten years of public health experience with local and state agencies as well as a strong background in public health emergency planning and response. She is certified as an Emergency Manager by the Minnesota Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and has been involved in the formation of Community Emergency Response Teams that trains volunteers in basic response skills related to natural and person-created disaster preparedness. Her diverse background also includes serving as a correctional officer in Hennepin County. Ms. Brodsky hold a Master of Public Health degree from the Univeristy of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Manitoba. Ms. Brodsky was appointed as representative of community health services. Her term expires in January 2019.
