Jeffrey Ho, M.D.

Regional EMS Program Representative
Dr. Jeffrey Ho is a board-certified emergency medicine physician and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. He practices clinically at HCMC where he completed a residency in emergency medicine in 1995 and a fellowship in EMS in 1996. In 2003, he was awarded a Bush Foundation Medical Fellowship in Law Enforcement that allowed him to complete his peace officer standards training. He is a licensed deputy sheriff and currently serves with the Meeker County Sheriffs Office. Dr. Ho has served as a military reserve medical corps officer, as a medical director/operator of a SWAT team, and is currently the medical director for the Hennepin EMS and Edina EMS agencies. He holds the academic rank of Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Minnesota and his research expertise is in the area ofsudden custodial death, conducted electrical weapons and the effects of non-lethal weaponry and use of force physiology. Term expires in January 2022.
