Dr. Burnett practices Emergency Medicine at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN and Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, MN. He serves as an EMS Medical Director for several agencies in the Twin Cities East Metro. He received his medical degree from the State University of NY at Syracuse and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine and fellowship in Prehospital Medicine at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. He is board certified through the American Board of Emergency Medicine in both Emergency Medicine and EMS. Dr. Burnett conducts research and has published peer reviewed articles on topics including cardiac arrest, paramedic student education, prehospital sedation and airway management. His term expires in January 2024.
