Salary Range: $24.32 – $35.00 ($50,780 - $78,080)
Work Locations: Positions may occur at Minnesota Correctional Facilities located in Faribault, Lino Lakes (Twin Cities Suburbs-North), Moose Lake/Willow River, Oak Park Heights, Red Wing, Rush City, St. Cloud, Shakopee, Stillwater, and Togo.
Job Duties: Provides lead work direction to CO1s and CO2s in providing security within a Minnesota Correctional Facility. CO3's help ensure a safe and secure environment for the people who work, visit, or reside within the institution and enforce institution rules, regulations, and post orders, and direct and advise CO1s/CO2s.
Minimum Qualifications: Two years of work experience as a CO2 with the Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) and must have passed the DOC CO3 Online Assessment. (Note: This is not a requirement for DOC employees who are currently in a permanent, non-probationary CO3 position and applying to transfer.), and an assessment of employee work records, including a review of employee work performance and discipline records.
Preferred Qualifications: Job-related work experience, such as experience in a leadership role, experience providing mentoring/training to others, and/or scope of experience working in more than one MCF location.Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
