Salary Range: $20.76 to $30.32 per hour; $43,347 to $63,308 per year

Work Locations:Positions may occur at Minnesota Correctional Facilities located in Faribault, Lino Lakes (Twin Cities Suburbs-North), Moose Lake/Willow River, Oak Park Heights, Red Wing, Rush City, St. Cloud, Shakopee, Stillwater, and Togo.
Job Duties:Function, with relative independence, as a behavioral health practitioner for offenders with mental illness, including the responsibility to provide security, assessment, education, and therapeutic programming.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related Behavioral Science or Social Science program AND one year of post-degree experience providing clinical services, including individual and group therapy, to clients with mental health issues OR a Master's degree in one of the above program areas.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Training or experience in providing behavioral health treatment, including individual and group therapy methods and practices.
Knowledge of professional, legal and ethical standards; best practices; and community standards of care.
Skills in verbal and written communication, including proficient documentation skills.
Interpersonal/human relations skills.
Basic personal computer skills.
Ability to formulate and implement an individualized treatment plan; provide mental health treatment; and develop a continuing care plan with relative independence.
Ability to teach a psycho-educational course; effectively function within a multi-disciplinary team; exercise sound judgment; and demonstrate appropriate professional boundaries.
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related Behavioral Science or Social Science program.
Demonstrated expertise in providing mental health treatment.
