Statewide Prison Rape Elimination Act Investigative Data Intern

Locations

Minnesota Correctional Facilities: Lino Lakes, Oak Park Heights, Red Wing, Rush City, Moose Lake, Willow River, Togo, Shakopee, Faribault and Saint Cloud

Internship Description

Applicants should have an interest in investigations, sexual assault, trauma informed care, collaboration and data analysis, and should be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. 

Duties Include:

  • Data auditing and entry for continuing cases statewide
  • Assisting with numerous training materials, enhancing and modifying to meet current standards and policy
  • Coordinate special projects and provide general assistance to the Office of Special Investigations

Requirements

The intern must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a program, which offers course credit for internships, and where an internship is required for graduation.

Length of Internship

12 weeks and minimum of 20 hours per week is desired. Negotiable and flexible

Application Deadline

February 15 for Summer session
July 1 for Fall session
October 15 for Winter/Spring session

Applications received by priority deadlines will be given first consideration. All other applications will be considered based on position availability.
