The Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) announces that Michael L. Vang, who absconded earlier today from a community work crew assignment in Plymouth, Minnesota, has been taken back into custody.

Vang was apprehended as part of a joint operation between the St. Paul Police Department and the DOC’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit.

The DOC appreciates the swift coordination and efforts of law enforcement partners in locating and safely returning Vang to custody.
