Providers need to develop a distribution plan that details how they will use rate adjustment funds for employee compensation-related increases. The plan must:
Be available by Jan. 1, 2015
Be available for review by the DHS commissioner upon request
Be posted in a visible, accessible location for employees for at least six weeks
Detail the distribution of the funds
Include an estimate of the amount of money available for employee increases.
The plan must include information for employees who believe they did not receive the compensation-related increase and include the mailing address and e-mail address of the commissioner's representative.
Providers that have employees represented by an exclusive bargaining unit must obtain a letter of accepting the distribution plan signed by the exclusive bargaining agent. The letter must be provided to the commission upon request.
Send concerns or questions to DHS by e-mail to email@example.com.
Anyone with questions about the rate adjustments can write to the following address. Be sure to include "2014 COLA" in the address.
