Distribution plans

Providers need to develop a distribution plan that details how they will use rate adjustment funds for employee compensation-related increases. The plan must:

  • Be available by Jan. 1, 2015
  • Be available for review by the DHS commissioner upon request
  • Be posted in a visible, accessible location for employees for at least six weeks
  • Detail the distribution of the funds
  • Include an estimate of the amount of money available for employee increases.

The plan must include information for employees who believe they did not receive the compensation-related increase and include the mailing address and e-mail address of the commissioner's representative.

Providers that have employees represented by an exclusive bargaining unit must obtain a letter of accepting the distribution plan signed by the exclusive bargaining agent. The letter must be provided to the commission upon request.
