Independent living assistance for youth
Independent living assistance for youth programs are licensed under Minnesota Statutes, section 245A.22
to provide nonresidential services to youth to assist with and instruct them in the skills necessary for independent living. These programs serve youth 16 to 21 years of age who are in out-of-home placement, leaving out-of-home placement, at risk of becoming homeless, or homeless.
