Minnesota Rapid Child Welfare Consultation and Support System
To access experienced peer counselors regarding difficult child safety and maltreatment decisions with child welfare colleagues within 24 hours of the requesting agency initiating contact. This contact is for Tribal and county child welfare agencies only.
Partner with county social services agencies, tribal and private agencies, county attorneys, guardians ad litem, courts and others to provide services to children under guardianship of the commissioner of the Department of Human Services.
Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC)
The mechanism we have to ensure protection and services to children who are placed across state lines for foster care, adoption, parental, relative and residential placements.

The Department of Human Services recommends that you do not use email to send private or confidential data about yourself or others unless it has been encoded or encrypted. In addition, DHS will not use email to transmit responses that contain private or confidential data on an individual unless we can ensure the security and integrity of the information or we have the individual's consent to transmit such unsecured data. Also note that any email submitted to DHS may be forwarded internally in order to direct it to the appropriate recipient.
